Don't expect a quiet, leisurely stroll on the National Mall anytime soon - it's cherry blossom season! The
Cherry Blossom Festival officially starts tomorrow March 26 and runs through April 10. According to
Bloom Watch (they're serious about this stuff) the peak blooms can be observed from March 29-April 1. There are plenty of activities and parades centered around this quintessential DC event, so if you have the time - and handle crowds well - be sure to check it out!
